Aiming to strengthen its role as a proponent of solutions for policies and regulations that impact health systems, INTERFARMA attended the event of the Parliamentary Caucus on Rare Diseases held in the National Congress in honor of the World Rare Disease Day celebrated on 02/29.
Elizabeth de Carvalhaes, CEO of INTERFARMA, took the opportunity to point out the Interfarma and its members´ commitment to this subject. Mrs. Carvalhaes stated that the laboratories represented by Interfarma are responsible for the development of most of the science and research surrounding rare diseases, as well as for the provision of therapies for Brazilian patients. She concluded by stating that all players involved are focused on increasing patient access to therapies.
